Martin A. Cauz is the founder of Beechwood Consulting Group LLC, where he leverages over 25 years of experience in restructuring, turnaround, and financial advisory services. Martin has worked extensively with companies facing financial distress, guiding them through complex challenges with the goal of achieving stability and long-term success. Over his career, Martin has worked with companies ranging from startups to those with over $1 billion in revenue. At Beechwood, he is focused on serving companies with revenues between $10 million and $100 million, providing tailored solutions that address their unique challenges.
Known for his hands-on approach, Martin excels at identifying key operational issues, improving cash flow, and developing strategic initiatives that drive profitability. His extensive experience includes business diagnostic reviews, business process reengineering, financial modeling, data analysis, and the preparation and review of 13-week cash flow forecasts and financial reports. Martin has successfully led numerous engagements across various industries, providing critical support to companies, lenders, equity sponsors, and attorneys.
Before founding Beechwood Consulting Group in 2024, Martin held various senior positions across multiple companies, including serving as the CEO of a $250 million healthcare company. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of a company in Chapter 11, where he provides strategic guidance through the restructuring process. Martin’s career began at KPMG, where he built a strong foundation in audit and financial analysis while servicing both public and private companies.
Throughout his career, Martin has been recognized for his transparency, leadership, and strategic vision, with an ability to quickly grasp complex situations and bring structure to unpredictable and fluid circumstances. He has also been acknowledged for his proficiency in interpreting and analyzing legal documents, ensuring that complex legal language is clearly understood and effectively applied. Martin’s expertise in developing innovative solutions has consistently helped companies navigate challenging times.
Martin received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Moravian College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
